What it does
One ledger for everything you hold
The same exact transaction data behind ExportMyWallet exports, organised and valued for tax.
Wallet connections
Add public addresses on Solana, Ethereum and Base. Each wallet is synced from the chain and keeps its own history.
Exchange imports
Import Kraken history from its CSV export or a read-only API key, or any file in Koinly's universal CSV format.
Transaction classification
Buys, sells, swaps, fees, staking rewards and transfers are recognised automatically, with the reason for each call shown.
Historical valuations
Each movement is valued with the daily price on its date, converted to pounds or dollars, and the price source is recorded.
Internal transfer matching
Moves between your own wallets and exchange accounts are matched, so a transfer is never counted as a sale.
Review queue
Anything that cannot be classified with confidence waits for your decision. Nothing uncertain is silently guessed.
Jurisdiction-specific rules
UK Capital Gains Tax matching and pooling, or US cost basis and holding periods, each versioned and sourced.
Detailed reports
Per tax year: totals, every disposal, the matching or basis behind it, and crypto income, as CSV and a printable report.
How it works
From wallet addresses to a tax report
Step 1: Connect your crypto
Add public wallet addresses on Solana, Ethereum or Base, and import exchange history. We never ask for seed phrases or private keys.
Step 2: Organise your transactions
ExportMyWallet builds one ledger from every source, recognises buys, sells, swaps, fees, staking and transfers, and matches transfers between your own accounts.
Step 3: Review anything uncertain
Transactions that cannot be classified with confidence go to a review queue instead of being guessed. You decide, and every change is kept.
Step 4: Calculate
The UK or US engine applies the rules for your jurisdiction to each tax year, valuing every transaction with the historical price on its date.
Step 5: Download your report
Check every figure on screen for free. When the year is complete, buy that tax year to download the detailed reports.
Choose your jurisdiction
Built for UK and US tax rules
Each engine follows its tax authority's published rules, with every rule versioned so a calculation can always be reproduced.

Tax reports
Reports you can check line by line
Every figure traces back through the calculation to the transactions and the price used. You can review it all on screen before paying, and the downloadable reports show the same detail.
A report is only marked final when nothing could still change it: every wallet fully synced, every disposal priced and nothing waiting for your review. Until then you see a working draft and a list of what to fix.

Pricing
Check everything free. Pay per tax year.
Your account, wallet and exchange imports, transaction matching and the full on-screen calculation are free. You pay once for a tax year to unlock its final report, priced by how many transactions you had that year. Not a subscription: regenerate the report whenever you like, and if the year grows past your plan you only pay the difference.

Security and trust
Your crypto stays yours
Tax software sees your whole financial history, so it has to earn more trust than a CSV download. This is how ExportMyWallet Tax handles it.
No seed phrases, ever
Wallets are added by public address only. ExportMyWallet reads public blockchain data and never asks for a seed phrase or private key.
Read-only exchange access
For Kraken, you can connect a read-only API key: we ask for query permissions only, with no trading or withdrawal rights. Other exchanges are imported from your own CSV files.
Encrypted credentials
Exchange API keys are encrypted before they are stored, are only used to read your history, and are never shown back or logged.
Transparent calculations
Every gain links to the disposals, matching rules and transactions behind it, with the price source and date used for each value.
You stay in control
Remove any wallet or exchange connection at any time, or delete your account and its data from Settings.
Common questions
Does ExportMyWallet file my tax return?
No. ExportMyWallet Tax calculates your gains, losses and income and produces detailed reports to use with your return or give to your accountant. It does not submit anything to HMRC or the IRS.
Do I need to connect my wallet or share a seed phrase?
No. Wallets are added by public address only, and ExportMyWallet never asks for a seed phrase or private key. For Kraken you can use a read-only API key, or import the CSV export instead.
What happens to transactions it cannot classify?
They go to your review queue with an explanation, and they are left out of the figures until you decide. A final report is only available once nothing up to the end of that tax year is waiting for review, every disposal has a price, and every wallet's history is complete.
Which blockchains and exchanges are supported?
Wallets on Solana, Ethereum and Base, including NFTs on Ethereum and Base. Kraken history by CSV or read-only API, and files in Koinly's universal CSV format. More exchanges will follow once each importer has been tested against real exports.
Is this tax advice?
No. ExportMyWallet Tax applies published HMRC and IRS rules to your records. If your situation is complex, for example trading as a business or heavy DeFi use, a tax adviser can review the figures with you.
